"Belladonna is designed by Franco Albini and made of Alu-Rattan and ArtFibre materials. Alu-Rattan is weatherproof powder coated aluminum and ArtFibre is artificial fibers made of maintenance-free polyethylene that can withstand the sun's UV radiation. Due to the weatherproof materials, the furniture can withstand being outside throughout the year without maintenance. In addition to the frame of aluminum, the sofa is fitted with a seat with Quick Dry Foam, which comes in many different durable fabric variants manufactured on our Danish sewing room. Quick Dry Foam is quick-drying foam suitable for outdoor use. The foam is specially designed as an outdoor foam that can drain the water and maximize air circulation into a faster drying process."

Het Deense Familiebedrijf Sika Design, is gekend binnen de in- & outdoor wereld voor hun eigenzinnige, karaktervolle rattan meubelen.
Waar ze voor hun binnencollecties steeds met het zeer plooibare rattan hout gaan werken, opteerden ze voor hun outdoor collecties voor een aluminium rattan-look techniek.
Als je houten rattan stoelen en tafels in ons Belgisch weertje buiten zet, worden ze door al het vocht en dauw in een mum van tijd zéér fragiel en zullen ze mankementen vertonen.
Door deze collecties in aluminium look uit te brengen voor buiten, geven ze hun iconische producten zoals de ‘Hanging Egg’ alsook de ‘Paris chair’ een extra kwalitatief- & outdoor proof jasje.
Zo kan je deze producten het hele jaar door buiten laten, zonder er een hoes of behandeling vereist is.
